We are a
nonprofit organization (501C)(3) dedicated to promoting world peace
with the main focus on children who are victims of war-torn
countries, abuse, neglect and terminal illness. Imagine
countless children all over the world who daily find
themselves caught in the crossfire, deprived of
opportunities for growth or even the fulfillment of their
basic survival needs. Children are reliant on adults for
access to education and medical help. Their future is our
responsibility and should not be stolen from them.
We are faced with a rising challenge, characterized by a
moral crisis on a global scale. A void has been created
producing feelings of despair and uncertainty, since terror
and destruction know no boundaries. As a result, the destiny
of the world civilization has never been more dependent upon
peace than now.
Morally, as well as economically, it is in our best interest
that we consciously promote concepts of peace and tolerance,
cultural understanding, compassion, personal responsibility
and the honoring of all living things. This needs to be
viewed not as a luxury, but rather as a necessity in order
to preserve a free and thriving society. We must act now to
promote unity through diversity. Because only through
diversity and a culture of peace can we hope to bring people
together and experience prosperity in every way. In the
words of Gandhi, who also believed that education is better
than weapons of war, "Our ability to reach unity in
diversity will be the beauty and test of civilization." |
